had to dip early but this was the turnout. i made it to market then peaced home but the pace up until there was super perfect i thought. a little on the super quick side which was awesome for a change. really wished i couldve stayed longer, the raffel at live wire was probably dope. thanks state. good game. lets get an AWLF AZ edition going?

met up at the san diego velodrome at 6 to drink beers and socialize until the moon popped out. lingo set up some flashes and snapped these photos. a route was planned to ride to the OB pier to check out just how high the tide rose due to the 'SUPERmoon'. our route was to go from velodrome thru hillcrest, down washington to old town then follow the bike path along the san diego river and ending up on the OB pier. we were well aware and even spoke of NOT going down one specific hill but somehow the route ended up bombing this hill. while i dipped down a driveway to make sure that everyone got down ok, I rolled over a lip and popped both tires at the same time only to look down the street to see one of the riders walking away from his bike with a broken collarbone. got him a ride to the hospital via taxi and we fixed my flats (thanks again jeff) and we were on our way. lingo met up in old town and just as soon as we got on the bike path, casey drifted off the path only to smack his forehead on the rocks and bend his forks. fixed the forks and he SAYS his head is ok but he's been mumbling alot more lately and tripping more so i really don't believe him. FINALLY ended up at the pier and the water was definitely higher than normal. the moon was out in full force and we capped off the night with beers and smokes and laughs and smiles.

MEETING UP AT 6 TO LEAVE BY 9 FROM THE PARK RIGHT OUT FRONT THE VELODROME ENTRANCE.
IT IS A VERY SECLUDED PARK WHERE WE WILL ALL BE ABLE TO KICK IT IN THE SHADOWS AND DRINK SOME DRINKS IN PEACE BEFORE WE SET OFF ON A FUN RIDE.
THE ROUTE WILL BE A MELLOW ROUTE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO.

WE WILL NOT RIDE ON THE VELODROME. JUST MEETING OUT FRONT OF IT.
